Patrons who attended The Pub at 1005 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound on Wednesday March 17 and Thursday March 18 are at possible risk of exposure to COVID-19.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit is investigating a case associated with The Pub. Right now, there is no evidence of transmission between patrons within the bar.
Anyone who visited The Pub on March 17 or 18 is being advised to seek testing at the nearest COVID-19 assessment centre any day between March 25 and March 27. There is no additional risk to anyone who visited the bar on other days.
Public Health has directly contacted the individuals identified as close contacts, but there are still unknown patrons who visited the bar on these dates. Additionally, anyone who visited the bar on the evenings on the posted dates who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 is being asked to call Public Health at 1-800-263-3456 ext. 3000.
Those who are being tested in connection with this investigation are not required to self-isolate but should still limit their activities to essential outings only until they get a negative test result.
The Pub remains open and is working with Public Health to ensure the safety of all staff and patrons.
