West Grey Police Service are on-scene at a serious crash on Highway 6.
Just before 2:20 p.m., West Grey Police Service confirmed on Twitter that they were on the scene of a serious crash on Highway 6 just south of Edges Side Road near Durham. Police say the crash involved 5 vehicles, and 2 people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police did confirm they are dealing with whiteout conditions and to expect delays. They are also recommending that everyone in the area avoid all travel if possible.
Highway 6 is now closed from John Street at the North Durham limits to Williamsford due to poor driving conditions. More updates will follow as police make them available.
