Adverse weather conditions in Midwestern Ontario

A snow squall warning is in effect for Huron-Perth and Grey-Bruce, as well as a Winter Weather Travel Advisory.

Intense snow squalls continue to affect regions in the Kincardine area. This snow squall is capable of producing local snowfall amounts of 15 cm and reduced visibility to near zero.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution as snow and blowing snow will make travel difficult in some areas. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
