Police investigating residential break-and-enter theft of tools, weapon

The Grey-Bruce OPP are investigating a recent break-and-enter theft that saw multiple tools and a gun stolen from a residence.

On January 30th at 11:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break-in and theft that occurred at a residence on Side Road 1, in the Township of Chatsworth. The break-in happened sometime between January 23rd and the 30th, and a number of items were stolen. Items taken include a .22 calibre Savage Model 64F rifle. There was also a Husqvarna chain saw, gas cans, snow shoes, Milwaukee power tools, Mastercraft tools and a Coleman outdoor stove taken from the home.

Police are asking for any public assistance regarding this crime. If you have any information regarding this theft, contact Grey-Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
