Special weather statements have been posted, warning of possible freezing late in the day Friday and into Friday night.
Environment Canada's statements cover Huron, Perth, southern areas of Grey County including Hanover and northern areas of Wellington County.
The advisory also stretches south into the London area and Lambton County as we as east into the Waterloo Region.
This precipitation is associated with a low pressure system moving north from Texas, although there is still some uncertainty with the exact track of the system.
