Saugeen Economic Development Corporation receives additional funding to distribute to local businesses

Saugeen Economic Development Corporation has received more federal funding to distribute to local businesses to help with the impact of COVID-19.

The SEDC announced in a recent release that businesses within their catchment area may be eligible to benefit from additional relief funding through the Government of Canada’s Regional Relief and Recovery Fund.

That includes Arran Elderslie, Brockton, Chatsworth, Hanover, Grey Highlands, Minto, South Bruce, Southgate, Wellington North and West Grey.

The additional funding is a top-up to the $994,888.67 investment by the Government of Canada in May 2020, for a total funding allocation of $2,034,888.67.

Loans of up to $40,000 are available through the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation for local businesses.
