A popular walking and bicycle trail in Owen Sound has closed for maintenance.
The Mile Drive Trail at Harrison Park will remain closed until December 5th.
According to a release from the City of Owen Sound, the trail will receive drainage improvements and asphalt resurfacing to improve accessibility.
The release notes that the work, expected to cost approximately $100-thousand dollars, was approved as part of the city's 2020 capital budget.
During construction, trail users can use an alternative walking route through the Harrison Park Campground.
