Police investigating series of break-ins at seasonal properties

South Bruce OPP are investigating a series of break-ins at six seasonal cottages in Kincardine and Huron Township.

Two cottages along Kincardine's Golf Course Trail were broken into sometime between October 16 and October 19. During that same time, four cottages along Bruce Beach Road in Huron Township were also targeted.

The items reported stolen include a Hisense big screen TV, a Panasonic plasma TV, power tools, and a Bose surround sound system.

Property owners are being reminded to frequently check on their cottages during the off-season and consider having valuables engraved to make them easier to identify and less likely to be taken.

If you see suspicious activity, call the police immediately.
