The Goderich, Central and North Huron Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its annual Spirit of Success Awards Night.
Operations Manager Heather Boa said there are five award categories.
"There are five award categories that recognize individuals, businesses and events for outstanding service to the community. We're looking for those nominees that go above and beyond, that really shine in our community."
Boa said anyone can fill out the nomination form and that can be found on the Chamber website.
"Anybody can fill out the nomination form, which is on our web site and any business, whether they're a Chamber member or not, is eligible to be nominated. They have to be in our coverage area."
The five sponsored award categories are the Goderich Signal-Star Community Impact Award, the Downtown Goderich BIA Award, the MicroAge Basics Service Award, the Tourism Goderich Hospitality Business Award and Zehrs Goderich Retail Business Award. And the deadline for nominations is October 30.
Winners will be announced during a Facebook Live event on Tuesday, November 10 at 4:30 pm at www.facebook.com/huronchamber.
Boa said businesses and the community have been through a lot in the past few months because of the pandemic and she says this is an opportunity for the community to acknowledge what they've been through and celebrate what they've achieved.
