A Centre Wellington resident is accused of stabbing a woman and is charged with attempted murder.
Wellington OPP were called to a Fergus home around 7:40 a.m on October 17.
When police arrived at the Highland Road residence, they found a 59-year-old woman with serious injuries. She was taken by paramedics to hospital and has since been released.
A 27-year-old is now facing charges.
Police said the victim and the accused are known to each other.
The accused is in custody.
