Provincial face covering order replaces local order

The Medical Officer Health for Grey and Bruce says provincial regulations on face coverings in indoor public places will surplant the locoal order.

In a release, Dr. Ian Arra writes that the recent provincial announcement has some differences.

That includes the person responsible for the business organization "shall ensure" compliance, children between 2 and 5 are not exempt even if refusing to wear a facial covering and sector-specific exemptions are not available for churches, libraries, community centres, private and public transportation, hospitals, health facilities, or regulated health professionals' offices.

It is still not necessary for a person to present evidence that they are entitled to any of the exceptions.
