The Grey County Business Enterprise Centre is offering support to young entrepreneurs from across the region.

A Student Makers Market Micro Grant Program is offering student grants of up to $750 to create or develop a product.

Successful applicants will participate in two one-hour webinars focused around business skills and resources and will have the opportunity to sell their products

The Student Makers Market is set for this December 5th in Owen Sound, but will move online if it cannot be held safely in person.

Applications for students aged 15 to 29 close October 19, 2020 . The program is set to begin November 2, 2020.

“The Maker’s Market is a great opportunity for students to learn entrepreneurial skills and bring their product ideas to life. Best of all, products will be available just in time for the holiday season,” said Courtney Miller, manager of the Business Enterprise Centre with Grey County.

Funding for the Student Makers Market Micro Grant Program is provided by the Province of Ontario and administered through the Grey County Business Enterprise Centre.

The Business Enterprise Centre provides entrepreneurs throughout Grey County with the information, tools and guidance needed to successfully start, expand and grow their small business. To learn more, visit MadeInGrey.ca/Business-Enterprise-Centre
