A back to School Traffic Safety campaign in Wellington County saw 154 motorists charged in September.
Officers were active in school zones across the detachment area to conduct high-visibility, zero tolerance enforcement
Anything that could put a child's life and well-being at risk was targeted including speeding, distracted driving, and moving offences.
Wellington County OPP will continue with high visibility patrols around the school zones throughout the year to ensure that drivers and students are following the rules of the road.
