It looks like another tough winter is on the way for snowmobilers in portions of Wellington County.
The Grand River Conservation Authority has announced they have been unable to reach an agreement with surrounding area snowmobile clubs, and have announced snowmobiling will not be permitted on GRCA lands during the 2020-2021 season.
This will be the second consecutive winter that snowmobilers won't have access to GRCA property.
This affects four districts, including the Arthur Snowblazers, the Elmira Snowmobile Club, as well as the Orangeville District Snowmobile Association.
The GRCA states it would consider permitting a reduced trail network if the clubs were to consider modifications to their requested revisions and obtain additional insurance.
