A special weather statement advising residents to monitor conditions for developing funnel clouds is no longer in effect.
Meteorologists issued a special weather statement for Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, and Northern Grey County just before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Experts reported that the development of funnel clouds and landspouts were possible throughout Saturday evening.
Environment Canada advises people to treat any funnel cloud sighting seriously and to prepare to take shelter if necessary.
