Celebrating Pride Month in Kincardine

Celebrating Pride Month will look different this year due to restrictions in place for COVID-19, but Kincardine Pride says the support will be no different.

Kincardine Pride President, Fort Papalia, says the town remains an inclusive, and LGBT positive community, even though in person celebrations won't be happening this year.

"Kincardine Pride will be taking on a number of virtual methods to celebrate Pride. These will include videos, social media updates and advertising," said Papalia.

Pride flags have once again been raised downtown and at the Davidson Centre.

The Kincardine United Church will be holding an online Affirming Diversity Worship Service celebrating diversity within our community. The service will begin live stream at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26th.
