It's now easier for students in Grey and Bruce doing online course work to get educated in health and fitness.
In partnership with the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board, the YMCA has launched YMCA Gym. It's an online platform for educators to deliver virtual physical education programming to their students as a part of their school's e-learning platform, for free.
YMCA CEO Gayle Graham said this innovation is a great example of what they've been able to do over the past 100 years, and she's glad they're able to help during this time of physical distancing.
YMCA certified fitness coach will feature content based on YMCA Canada's Health & Fitness programs and Canada's Physical Activity Guidelines for students in the area.
