Huron County OPP officers urge vehicle owners to lock up their vehicles and remove the valuables after two thefts from vehicle occurrences in Exeter this past week.
A pickup truck parked in a laneway on Simcoe Street was entered overnight on April 14th. The owner reported security officer tools, including a protective vest, were stolen along with keys to an all-terrain vehicle and the ownership for the vehicle.
Also this week a thief entered into an unlocked pickup truck that was parked in a laneway on Andrew Street. This time the thief stole a wallet that contained several pieces of government-issued identification as well as some loose change.
