Huron County OPP have tracked down the passenger of a stolen vehicle that recently rammed a police cruiser and laid charges.
On April 2, officers arrested and charged the driver that was involved in a cruiser ramming incident at a car wash in Clinton on March 29. Investigators also identified the passenger and secured a warrant for his arrest.
On April 11, patrolling officers spotted the wanted passenger from the incident on Whitehead Street in Clinton, and police were able to arrest the accused on outstanding warrants. After a brief search, the accused was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Ronald Davis, 50, of Clinton, has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of methamphetamine and failure to comply with an undertaking.
The charges have yet to be proven in a court. Davis has a court date scheduled for June 8 in Goderich.
