Four teens face numerous charges, including trafficking, after allegedly fleeing from police in a stolen pickup truck early Sunday morning in Grey County.
Grey Bruce OPP were called to a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 6 north of Springmount at around 1 a.m.
Police say while observing the vehicle in Hepworth, it accelerated at a high rate of speed away from police.
Officers located the vehicle a short time later in a ditch south of Alvanley with no occupants inside.
With the assistance of OPP Canine unit, the four suspects were located and arrested.
Police charged a 17-year-old from Owen Sound, a 19-year-old from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation, and a 18-year-old and 19-year-old from Collingwood with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine.
The Owen Sound teen faces additional charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of flight from a peace officer, and two counts of failing to stop for police.
All accused were released on undertakings and have a court date set for June 11.
