UPDATE: Fire near Mitchell sends 1 man to hospital

Updated at 2:40 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020:

The Ontario Provincial Police have re-opened a part of Highway 23 near Mitchell due to a house fire.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday. Police closed Highway 23 between Line 32 and Highway 8 for several hours as firefighters extinguished the fire.

OPP has reported that one man has been taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

No other details, including the cause or cost of damages, have been provided.
