Snow squalls have intensified across the region and will continue to make driving in some areas a challenge Thursday.
Most of Midwestern Ontario received a light dusting overnight Wednesday to cover the freshly-frozen ground.
Environment Canada also issued a winter weather travel advisory for Wellington and the Waterloo region.
Snowfall amounts will vary but could reach 10 centimetres or higher for areas experiencing snow squalls. Wind gusts could also reach 50 kilometres per hour at times. Windy conditions will persist into this evening before dissipating overnight.
As for the temperature, it will fall through the day and becoming colder tonight with a low of -13 XC in areas with the wind chill making it feel more like -20 C.
