The Hanover Police Service is asking for the public's help to identify a thief from the Hanover area.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a shoplifting incident at a business in the 800 block of 10th Street. It was determined that in the early evening hours on Tuesday, a quantity of perfume was stolen from the store.
Police said investigators believe the thief in question is responsible for a similar theft at the store in November.
