Provincial government announces new grant for local police services boards

The North Huron Police Services Board has been given a significant grant to help them better protect communities.

The board will be receiving over $200,000 over the next three years through the new Community Safety and Policing (CSP) Grant. The money will help the board deploy more front line officers and support local police community safety initiatives.

The provincial government announced today they are investing $195 million over the next three years across the province and it will all go towards the new grant and better helping local police service boards.
