The next round of the Catch the Ace Lottery is underway to raise money for a new MRI for Grey Bruce residents.
That's after round two wrapped up last week with a $100,000 cheque presentation from the Five Foundations that support Grey Bruce Health Services.
The round 2 grand prize winner took home $71,698.
There's still time to get your tickets before the first draw in round three occurs at 11:00 am Thursday morning. The jackpot grows as tickets are sold. The Five Foundations of GBHS are once again working together on this lottery.
The MRI in the Owen Sound Regional Hospital is used over 11,000 times per year on patients from across Grey and Bruce to diagnose a range of medical conditions.
Tests done with the next generation of MRI technology will be faster, quieter and more comfortable for patients, and will provide physicians with higher quality images to aid in more accurate diagnoses.
“A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the success of this lottery. The success would not have been possible without the help of our ticket sellers, buyers, volunteers and staff,” said Amy McKinnon, Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation’s Executive Director. “
