Bruce Power has released a Sustainability report which details their commitment to providing low-cost carbon-free electricity.
“We recognize our role and work to ensure our decision-making process incorporates environmental, social, cultural and economic systems,” said Mike Rencheck, president and CEO. “We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and to supporting Ontario and Canada in reaching its climate change goals. By safely and reliably producing more than 30 per cent of the province’s power with zero carbon emissions, we’re proud of the role Bruce Power plays in decarbonizing Ontario’s electric sector and keeping Ontario’s air clean.”
He said they are working to minimize Bruce Power's environmental footprint to help Canada reach climate change goals.

The report includes various initiatives undertaken by Bruce Power which demonstrate that sustainability and good business practices are not mutually exclusive.
