Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by truck

A 59-year-old pedestrian is clinging to life after being struck by a pick-up truck in Grey Highlands.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the pedestrian was struck as the truck was making a left turn from Grey Road 12 to the southbound lane of Highway 10, on Friday shortly before 2:33 p.m.

The 51-year-old pedestrian was airlifted to hospital with a life-threatening head injury.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators have attended the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
