West Grey is looking for volunteers to help make its streets safer.

This morning the municipality put out a release requesting applications for a new Traffic Safety Working Group.

The release says the group will "work with stakeholders, identify key streets where speeding is most prevalent, and provide education and traffic calming recommendations."

To apply, you must have knowledge or experience with road safety or traffic calming measures. They are looking for four volunteers. The deadline to apply is November 13.

You can do so by visiting www.westgrey.com or emailing info@westgrey.com.
