Perth-Huron United Way hosting two workshops

The Perth-Huron United Way is hosting two workshops in November to help non-profits improve employee performance, build morale and increase productivity.

Communications Director Susan Faber says the workshop on Volunteer Management will be held on November 6th at the Huron County Health Unit from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Faber describes the workshop as cost-effective and local professional development.

"That's one of the priorities of the United Way, to try and build up local organizations, to make that, sort of, social services offering in Perth and Huron counties as strong as it possibly can be."

The second workshop will be held on November 26th at the Stratford Public Library and the full day workshop will be about 'personality dimensions'.

"It's delving into what your personality's made up of and learning more about your team members and other people in your organization so that you can all co-exist and work really well together.    But if you're struggling with different personalities in your organization, this is a great workshop."

The workshops are supported by the Libro Credit Union.    More information about the workshops can be found on the United Way Perth-Huron web site.
