Perth County Health Unit has arranged a number of flu shot clinics to help people protect themselves from what could be a difficult year for severe flu illnesses if Australia's experience translates here.
The flu shot is expected to be available within the next few weeks at pharmacies. The clinics are being held in Listowel and Stratford between November 6 and November 21.
Stratford Wednesday, November 6: 3-8 p.m. Thursday, November 7: 3-7 p.m. Thursday, November 14: 4-8 p.m. Thursday, November 21: 3-7 p.m. Listowel Wednesday, November 13: 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 20: 3-7 p.m.
Currently, the free flu shot is only available for high-risk individuals through family doctors’ offices, based on vaccine availability.
