Here is a list of hospitals receiving the funding: South Bruce Grey Health Centre- $327,000
Alexandra Marine and General Hospital- $175,000
Wingham and District Hospital- $131,000
Clinton Public Hospital- $100,000
South Huron Hospital Association- $77,000
Seaforth Community Hospital- $74,000
In addition, Grey Bruce Health Services, which includes the Southampton Hospital, will receive $6.1 million.
In a release, Thompson said rural health care close to home is vital to residents in smaller communities, and the investment delivers on her party's commitment to end what it calls "hallway health care".
