Huron OPP are investigating another case where a young person was approached by a stranger in a vehicle, this time in Clinton.
Police said this latest case happened on Wednesday around 6 p.m. on Whitehead Street in front of the REACH building.
A 13-year-old girl told police a man driving a dark grey sedan pulled up beside her and complimented her appearance. The girl said he then began asking personal questions including about whether she was alone or if she would like a ride. She refused and got to a safe place where she reported the incident.
Police want to talk to the man involved and are asking for help identifying him.
He is described as white, between 30 and 40 years-old with a bald or shaved head. He has blue eyes and is clean-shaven. He was driving a dark grey newer model four-door sedan similar to an Acura. The girl told police the car clean and a newer model year.
On Monday, Perth County OPP were called about a man in a pick-up truck who drove slowly passed two children waiting for a bus on a rural road. The man did a U-turn then stopped in front of the kids before a parent scared him off. That vehicle is described as a burgundy older model pick-up truck.
On Tuesday South Bruce OPP got a report of a man in Kincardine who called out to a student walking home from school. The vehicle, in that case, was described as an older model red pick-up truck.
Parents again are being urged to talk to their kids about public safety.
