A contest to find an understudy for Wiarton Willie has prompted a bit of a debate on the Wiarton Willie Festival Facebook Page.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has put out a Wanted Alive poster in search of a new Albino groundhog to be ready to step in for the current Willie.
The town is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information on an Albino Groundhog.
One person responded to the ad on Facebook with the comment "free Willie".
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
