Charge laid after two-vehicle crash in Perth East

A West Perth man is facing an impaired driving charge after a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer south of Shakespeare.

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police said on Tuesday shortly before 8:55 p.m., a sedan collided with the tractor trailer at the intersection of Perth Road 107 and Perth Line 33,

After speaking with the driver of the sedan, officers determined that he was impaired. He was arrested and taken to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result, Justin Skinner, 37, of West Perth is now charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug. He is scheduled to appear in a Stratford court on September 23.
