Four local infrastructure projects nominated for federal funding

Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker announced over 2 million dollars in possible funding for local infrastructure projects yesterday.

The Province has nominated 4 local projects for federal funding to help improve local infrastructure. The projects include Grey Roads 3 and 4 roundabout construction, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nations Phase 2 of culvert flood damage repair, Arran-Elderslie replacement of Soper’s Bridge structure on Sideroad 20 and West Grey replacement of Lantz Bridge (Bridge 28) on Concession 2.

The federal government will now review the nominations and make final funding decisions soon.
