With his wife and son in tow, Huron County's Ryan O'Reilly celebrated the St. Louis Blues' Stanley Cup victory on Thursday.
The day began at the Seaforth Fire Department where hundreds attended a parade through the town's main street. O'Reilly was perched on top of a fire truck with his family, including his 99-year-old grandmother, Deirdre.
The parade made the right-hand turn into the Seaforth & District Community Centre, where a huge crowd cheered O'Reilly as he and wife Dayna as they spun around in the truck with the cup held high.
Hundreds of people had lined up outside of the arena and around the block to get a glimpse of Lord Stanley's mug.
Then, O'Reilly and his entourage made their way to Goderich, where they had lunch at the town hall with local staff and family.
O'Reilly then held a short media scrum before heading out to the streets for yet another parade through downtown Goderich, as thousands of fans lined the streets to see the Cup.
The O'Reilly crew made their way in a parade of convertibles to the Maitland Rec Centre, where fans lined up for a chance to get a photo with Ryan and the Cup, along with his Conn Smythe Trophy, the Selke Trophy, and the Clarence Campbell Bowl. As the afternoon wrapped up, O'Reilly and his family planned to head to their home and celebrate with a private party.
