They turned the sod in February 2018 and now Howick Mutual Insurance officials will cut the ribbon to celebrate the official opening of their new building in Morris-Turnberry on Friday.
The 13,500 square foot building was constructed on the site of the former Turnberry Public School and opened it's doors to staff in November.
"Because of that continued commitment to our policyholders, we were ready to move forward to modernize our systems and we needed the space to do so," said Jackie Bishop, the chair of the Board of Directors.
She said the plan included consolidating the Hanover and Wroxeter offices.
"Focused on employee well being and collaboration. And we created efficiencies by bringing the two former locations under one roof," said Bishop.
The public open house for the new Howick Mutual Insurance is Friday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the official ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. and office tours will be provided. Cardiff BBQ of Brussels will be serving beef on a bun and salads between 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
