The Hanover Police Services Board and the Hanover Police Association have agreed on the terms of five-year contracts for both the uniformed and civilian members.
These new contracts extend from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022.
Members of the Hanover Police Service will experience an average annual wage increase throughout the first four years of 1.9 per cent.
The fifth-year increase will be determined by averaging the increases of three other similar sized police services in the region in the previous year.
The agreements were signed by board and association officials without the need for outside mediation.
