Concierge group gives great review touring local county hot spots

The mayor of Goderich says the town and Huron County apparently got good reviews from the concierge group that spent two days touring Huron County last week.

The tour was organized by the Huron County Economic Development Department and included stops in Goderich, Bayfield, Hensall and South Huron.

Mayor John Grace said he's been told two groups from the larger group that made the original tour, returned with their families and partners for another look last weekend.

“They travelled for two days throughout the county and apparently two groups have come back from that concierge grouping, with their families or partners, in order to experience Huron County on their own last weekend," he said.

Grace said they must have enjoyed their first experience and that's a tribute to the organizers as well as the people of Huron County who showed them what rural life is all about.

“It made an impact, what they showed them, that rural hospitality and character. They loved what they saw, tasted, the whole experience was really, really good. So, hats off to the organizers," he said.
