Saugeen Shores doctor retiring

The Town of Saugeen Shores will continue physician recruitment efforts as a local doctor has announced plans to retire this summer.

After years of practising in the community, Dr. Don McCulloch will retire on August 9.

Charbonneau said the town will continue the ongoing investment working toward securing access to primary health care for all residents.

“Dr. McCulloch has served our community for many years. His dedication to Saugeen Shores does not go unnoticed, and we wish him well on his deserved retirement,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “We are continuing recruitment through our partnership with Kincardine and Bruce Power. The Town’s effort and investment will play a role in attracting physicians to our community."

Residents who do not have a family physician are reminded to register to Ontario Health Care Connect, by visiting www.ontario.ca/healthcareconnect.
