Huron East woman facing charges after stolen Sea-Doos recovered

A Huron East woman is facing charges after two Sea-Doo watercraft were recovered at a rural residence near Monkton earlier this week.

According to a joint investigation involving officers from both the Perth County and Huron County OPP detachments, the Sea-Doos were taken sometime on May 11, but were recovered the next day near Brussels when a proposed buyer became suspicious, and reported the transaction to police.

A 33-year-old woman faces several charges, including trafficking in property obtained by crime, and failing to comply with probation.
