Break the Silence social media campaign Friday

Bruce Power is asking for support to help break the stigma of mental health through its annual Break the Silence campaign.

The company is holding its fourth annual Break the Silence social media campaign to mark the end of Mental Health Awareness Week.

On Friday, social media users are encouraged to use the hashtag #BreaktheSilence19 on Twitter,  'like' or 'share'  the Break the Silence video on the Bruce Power Facebook page, and 'like' the Break the Silence video on Bruce Power’s Instagram account.

For every use of the #BreakTheSilence19 hashtag on Twitter, and 'like' or 'share' of the video on Facebook and Instagram, the company will donate $1 to local mental health initiatives.

Since 2016, Bruce Power’s #BreaktheSilence social media campaign has collected more than $240,000 for local mental health initiatives.
