West Grey Police investigate break-ins

West Grey police officers are looking for clues after a couple of thefts.

Police officers were called after culprits entered an unlocked garage and shed and stole approximately $500 worth of store bought packaged meat from a chest freezer as well as a Yamaha amplifier and Yamaha mixer used by a live band. The break-in occurred sometime between 6:45 p.m. on May 2 and 4 p.m. on May 3.

On May 3, 2019, police were advised of a theft from an outbuilding at a property on Edge’s Sideroad. Snap-On Tool cabinets with tools inside and an anvil were stolen. A white minivan was observed on the property prior to the discovery of the theft and police would like to speak to the driver of that van.

If you have any information about this occurrence please contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
