Bruce Power hosted the 29th Annual Bruce County Fire School for representatives from 19 fire departments in the county and Goderich fire departments.
The school on April 27 and 28 gave participants the chance to work through a variety of emergency training situations.
The courses were delivered on the Bruce Power site over the weekend by instructors from the company and Bruce County.
109 Participants were able to learn about Auto Extrication, Pumper Operations, High Angle Rescue, Forcible Entry and mental health awareness course.
Firefighters were welcomed to the site by Bruce Power Vice-President of Site Services Jennifer Edey, Bruce Power Fire Chief Brian Cumming, Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb, Huron-Bruce MPP and Minister of Education Lisa Thompson, and the Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie.
