Three people who were riding in a horse and buggy were rushed to hospital after a collision with a motor vehicle on Howick-Turnberry Road.
The collision happened on Friday evening at about 6:30 pm between Gorrie Road and Belmore Line.
The 46-year-old driver of the horse and buggy was taken to hospital along with two passengers aged 14 and 2. All three were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation continues with the support of the OPP Traffic Technical Collision Investigators.
Police are asking any witnesses who may have approached the scene from a westerly direction, particularly after the collision, to contact Police.
In the meantime, police are also asking witnesses to contact them in connection to another collision involving a horse and buggy last Thursday.
A school bus and a horse-drawn buggy collided on Concession 10 Elderslie at Sideroad 5 Elderslie in Arran-Elderslie on Thursday, March 7 shortly after 4 p.m.
There were five injured individuals who were transported to the hospital as a result of this collision. Two of these injured individuals were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
All five injured individuals who were transported to the hospital have since been released from the hospital.
