There are still approximately 8,000 Hydro One customers without power throughout the province due to the wind storm and blizzard.
Approximately 1,850 of those customers are in Southern Ontario, and include 25 customers in Clinton and 59 in Walkerton.
Hydro One says there is currently 358 staff working in the Southern region, after more staff was mobilized to assist from other areas. There is no firm timetable for a return of power, but Hydro One is anticipating that power will be back on for everyone no later than 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
