Hydro One ready for wind

We can expect some gusty winds tonight, and mix that with the snow and ice, and we could see some power outages.

Hydro One says its positioning crews strategically so they can respond quickly.

Their prediction tool is showing the most affected areas will be through central and eastern Ontario.

Damage assessors, and lines and forestry crews are being put on stand by.

Hydro One says its outage tools will be up-dated every 10 minutes and emergencies will be prioritized in such a way that brings power back to the largest number of customers in the shortest period of time.
