Huron County's Economic Development Department is hoping to dig up some interest in the former Bluewater Centre, south of Goderich.
Requests for expressions of interest' have been sent to a number of different organizations.
Warden Jim Ginn is hoping the provincial government will be ready to sell the centre in the summer or early fall and the requests for expressions of interest will highlight some of the attributes of the property.
"Resort associations or manufacturing associations and see if there's people that would be interested in the property," said Ginn. "Of course we want economic development out of the property because it did have 200 jobs there and we'd like to see some of those jobs return."
