A man from Arran-Elderslie is facing charges after a head-on motor vehicle collision that took place on Bruce Road 19 in Arran-Elderslie on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Shortly before 8 p.m. that night, Southern Bruce OPP responded to the call of a head-on collision on Bruce Road 19. Police came to discover a Ford Escape and a Toyota Corolla in the middle of the road. Police spoke with the driver of the Escape and suspected he had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening test was performed and the driver failed.
As a result, 54-year-old Mark Pozarycki has been charged with operation while impaired, and dangerous operation. He has been released from custody with a court date scheduled for March 6, 2019.
The driver of the Corolla suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
