Stolen vehicle found burned on the Peninsula

Bruce Peninsula OPP officers are investigating after a stolen vehicle was later found destroyed by fire.

On January 23, OPP officers were called regarding a stolen, (blue) 2014 Lincoln MKX car from a residence at Webster Street in the village of Lions Head. The vehicle went missing sometime between January 22, 2019, at 9 p.m. and January 23, 2019, at 7:30 a.m.

Later in the morning, of January 23, the OPP were called for a vehicle destroyed by fire on Wright's Crescent in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The vehicle located at the scene was identified as the stolen 2014 Lincoln MKX from Lions Head.

The OPP are asking for anyone who may have seen this vehicle driving around the late night hours of January 22 or the early morning hours of January 23 to call the police.
